What was planted in the dark is now impossible to hide.
At the Full Moon the Moon stands opposite the Sun and reflects it entire โ the one night of the month when the dark half of the sky gets a light of its own. This is Selene's moon, the shining one, and the tradition reads it as culmination and revelation: whatever was seeded at the New Moon now shows exactly what it became, whether or not that's what was intended.
The opposition is astrology's aspect of confrontation-by-mirror, and the Full Moon carries that character. Things come to light โ results, feelings, truths that spent two weeks growing quietly. Emotional tides run highest here; every emergency-room nurse and dispatcher has an opinion about full-moon nights, and whatever the studies say, the symbol holds: maximum light means maximum visibility, including of what would rather stay unseen. The Tarot's The Moon card lives in this territory โ the flood-lit night road where everything is visible and nothing is entirely clear.
The counsel of the phase: harvest and witness. Celebrate what ripened, look plainly at what didn't, and resist making permanent decisions at emotional high tide. The waning half of the month exists precisely to digest what this night reveals.
