There is no distance he cannot cross in the space of a thought.
The Spirit
Seere — also written Sear or Seir — is the seventieth spirit of the Ars Goetia and a Mighty Prince, subject in the older ordering to the eastern king Amaymon. He appears as a beautiful man riding upon a strong winged horse, and the grimoire is unusually warm in its description of him: he is said to be of a good and indifferent nature, willing to do the conjurer's bidding without malice. Among a catalogue full of deceivers and destroyers, Seere stands out as one of the more amiable and obliging spirits.
His defining quality is speed. Where other spirits offer knowledge or dominion, Seere offers instantaneous motion — the abolition of distance — and the tradition treats him as a swift and reliable messenger and finder, a spirit whose good will is matched by the immediacy of his service.
Office
The Ars Goetia holds that Seere can go and come again in the twinkling of an eye, passing over the whole earth in an instant. He brings an abundance of all things, carries and recarries things at the conjurer's pleasure, and discovers all manner of theft and things that are hidden. Because he is of an indifferent and willing nature, he performs these offices readily, and the grimoire numbers him among the spirits most easily and safely commanded.
